Humane America Animal Foundation's vision is a world that is more humane, and our mission is to create, implement, and promote innovative and effective programs that have significant and measurable benefits for animals and people.Our main program is Adopt-a-Pet.com (formerly 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com) which helps shelters, humane societies, SPCAs, pet rescue groups, and pet adoption agencies advertise their homeless pets to adopters for free. We assist over 17,000 organizations, and reach over 5 million potential adopters each month.We are almost entirely funded by supportive corporate sponsors and large foundations, which allows us to access the talent we need to make our service the best it can be.
