The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is an unwavering champion for animals in need, committed to keeping them safe and healthy. ARL’s dedicated volunteers and staff respond to the needs of animals and support a community in which animals are protected, safe, and thriving - in homes and out of shelters. ARL provides high quality veterinary care, adoption, and rescue services, while also confronting the root causes of animal cruelty and neglect through innovative community programs, humane law enforcement, and advocacy. Last year alone, we served more than 23,900 animals in need.
