DonateStock celebrates Women’s History Month

Women's History Month has been observed in the United States since 1987 as a commemoration of women's contributions to history and the cultural and societal impacts they have had.

The month of March, which evolved from an earlier "Women's History Week," is an important commemoration of past and contemporary women.

We begin by acknowledging the hard work of our featured nonprofit organizations who have dedicated their lives to create impactful programs. Great women's efforts throughout history have had a significant impact on the world we live in today. Join us in honoring women's contributions to history during Women's History Month.

Check out some of our featured nonprofits and learn more by visiting their pages linked below:
  • The Women’s Home
The Women's Home builds communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability. Since their creation in 1957, they have fulfilled this mission by providing housing and supportive services to vulnerable women and families in the Houston area. Their programs serve women and families who are homeless or vulnerable to homelessness - many have histories of addiction, mental illness, and trauma.
  • Atlanta Women’s Foundation
As the only public foundation in Georgia dedicated solely to women and girls, The Atlanta Women’s Foundation’s mission is to be a catalyst for change in the lives of women and girls. They strive to ensure that all women and girls in metro Atlanta live safe, economically self-sufficient, successful lives.
  • Houston Area Women’s Center
The Houston Area Women's Center works to end domestic and sexual violence and supports all in building safe and healthy lives through advocacy, counseling, education, shelter, and support services.

Please consider taking the opportunity to celebrate and support these organizations in their mission to make a difference in the community by donating stock.
