Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, from diverse circumstances, to realize their full potential by providing opportunities for personal growth to become contributing, caring and responsible members of the community.
We offer a variety of programs such as:
- Academics: Members have the opportunity to do their homework in a quiet space, receive tutorial assistance and access computers and reference materials for school assignments. They have additional opportunities to explore topics of interest more deeply through a diverse range of enrichment programs that provide a chance to explore areas including history, world culture, science, entrepreneurship, engineering, computer animation and more.
- Arts & Music: Art helps budding young artists tap their creativity through mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture and photography. Music engages youth in the world of music performance and production through group lessons, classes/workshops and year-round performance opportunities. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of programming that will keep members engaged, stimulated and eager to come back for more.
- Character & Leadership: These programs help youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills to participate in the democratic process. Program participants also develop leadership skills and gain opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage.
- Healthy Lifestyles: Healthy Lifestyles promote the benefits of an active, healthy lifestyle and teach teamwork, sportsmanship and dedication. Activities include basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, gymnastics, swim lessons, swim team and tae kwon do, as well as cooking and nutrition classes.
- Teen: The Teen Center is open Monday through Friday and offers members a place to relax after school, spend time with friends, play board games, complete homework, use the computers, and much more.
