BCABVI is an independent, non-profit organization serving the blind and visually impaired community of Bucks County, PA since 1945. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to helping our clients lead rich, vibrant, and independent lives. Our mission is to provide resources, answers, and support for people with blindness or other visual impairments that maximize their ability to meet life's daily challenges and realize their continued self-worth and value to our community. We help clients navigate their vision loss journey by providing individualized rehabilitation and support services. In partnership with our clients, our professional staff identifies the right combination of services, vision evaluations, assistive technology, education, resources and support needed for personal success. We educate our community and raise public awareness about vision loss, offering presentations that address symptoms and treatments for eye diseases, causes, implications and prevention of vision loss and teach best practices to support people with visual impairments.
