Marketing Director

Houston, Austin, San Antonio or DFW Full-time contract to permanent hire

We are seeking an accomplished, digital-savvy Marketing Director to develop and execute our growth hacking marketing strategy. This role is focused on planning, executing and optimizing omnichannel campaigns to accelerate rapid growth including brand building, demand generation, site optimization via social, search, programmatic advertising, email, strategic partnerships and other digital marketing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute our omni-channel marketing strategy. Includes the planning and project management of targeted DTC campaigns with a “test and learn” approach to optimize results.
  • Oversee production of high-quality content to support brand building and demand-generation campaigns.
  • Regularly measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, leveraging analytics to optimize user experience, engagement, ROI and business KPIs.
  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development team to ensure alignment, consistency and support
  • Leverage our Hubspot sales and marketing automation platform.
  • Work w/ Customer Success team to produce collateral and educational assets.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts in support of marketing initiatives and plans.

Requirements

  • Prior startup experience is a must.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing and managing successful omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience in PR and media relations, social media, search, digital advertising and email marketing.
  • Proficient in planning and project management with a track record of planning, executing and meeting deadlines in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Adept at strategic planning, writing briefs, developing media plans and overseeing creative production
  • Extremely strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with a sense of ownership and desire to succeed. Goal-driven and results-oriented with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Bonus points for hands-on experience with Hubspot marketing and sales automation

Location

  • The role is a flex position and will allow you to work remotely with monthly in-person meetings in Houston. If you choose to work remotely, a dedicated home workspace is required.
