Senior Developer

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to play a critical role in the continued development and expansion of our fintech stock gifting platform.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of new features and major functional upgrades of our platform.
• Participate in design decisions and build of our next generation platform.
• Play critical role in architecture decisions.
• Contribute to automation of operational reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a software engineer, developer, or programmer building software used by thousands of users. Bonus for startup experience.
• Proficiency with PHP (Symfony and Drupal 8/9 a plus).
• Proficiency in using JIRA / Bitbucket in a scrum/agile context and to manage the development cycle.
• Ability to navigate the complexity of systems across the stack and to operate them in production.
• Ability to contribute throughout all phases of a service lifecycle from conception through design, development, deployment and ultimately operation.
• A commitment to monitoring and observability.
• Systems thinking.
• Strong opinions, weakly held.
• Goal-driven and results-oriented.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and professional demeanor.

Location / Travel

The role is virtual. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings.
