The Coachella Valley Journalism Foundation's mission is to promote and support sustainable community journalism in the Coachella Valley. We 1) provide grants for reporting, editing and internship positions; 2) celebrate local journalism and recognize the work of valley journalists; 3) hold events that raise the public's awareness of and appreciation for journalism; 4) host professional development trainings for local journalists and student journalists.
