DoSomething is the leading hub for youth-centered leadership and service with over 1 million active members. We have a 31-year legacy of activating over 8 million young people in every U.S area code and 189 countries to lead local change. We fuel young people ages 13 to 25 to change the world by transforming their curiosity into commitment, equipping them to become leaders who actively shape the future, and addressing the issues that matter most to them and their communities. Leveraging our unique mix of technology, youth culture and creative peer-to-peer engagement, DoSomething has registered 420,000 young people to vote since 2018 and awarded nearly $2 million in scholarships to young people committed to improving their communities. We convene youth across the intersectional spectrum of identities through programming designed to engage digitally native Gen Z and Alpha leaders and volunteers who are pressing for systemic change. Our members exhibit a substantial increase in social action and are three times more likely to volunteer regularly, advocate for social causes, and twice as likely to organize social impact-related activities. Moreover, each action taken by our members has a cascading effect, influencing an average of two or more of their peers.
