Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue is a volunteer, foster-based animal rescue operating primarily out of Houston, TX. It is our mission to address, educate, rescue, provide aid and relief to eradicate neglected, abused, and unwanted companion animals at risk of euthanasia and homelessness throughout the United States. We do this through services such as vetting, medical care, supplies, house checks, transportation, boarding, and providing nurturing foster homes where these companion animals can heal (both mentally and physically) until a partner rescue or permanent home is found through our adoption screening process.
It is our purpose to provide and promote the importance of proper care, prevention, vaccinations, and the spaying and neutering of companion animals to decrease the growing population of stray animals. We believe ultimately this will decrease pain, suffering and cruelty.
