The Friends of West University Parks is an organization dedicated to raising funds for West University Place parks including the development, improvement of parks and green spaces in the City of West University Place.

Friends is a volunteer based 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to raising money to improve and develop parks in the City of West University Place. The Friends work closely with the West U Parks and Recreation Board and are supported by an advisory committee of residents. Since its inception, the Friends have raised over $8 million plus another close to $8 million of in kind donations. With these funds, West U’s parks are fun, safe little havens for all citizens to enjoy.
