The mission of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles (PPLA) is to provide convenient and affordable access to a comprehensive range of quality reproductive health care and sexual health information, through patient services, education and advocacy. PPLA has three focus areas: health services, education and advocacy. As the largest private provider of reproductive care in Los Angeles County, PPLA provided affordable, compassionate care to more than 136,000 women, men and teens in fiscal year 2011-2012. PPLA's community education and outreach programs deliver sexuality and family planning education to more than 40,000 students, parents and other community members per year. PPLA works to involve people and impact decision-makers in the fight to secure and protect access to a full range of quality reproductive health care services.
