DIshing Out Assists to Blind Hockey Players
Blind and Visually Impaired Persons are at a major disadvantage in regards to transportation. The HockEYE Guy Foundation aims to provide travel and accommodation solutions for hockey players who are blind or have severe visual impairments.
The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:
-- To provide solutions for travel and accommodations to provide Visually Impaired Persons an opportunity to attend blind hockey events.
-- To provide opportunities for the visually impaired community to engage in blind hockey events and practices
-- To sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote the sport of blind hockey.
-- To provide opportunities for Visually Impaired hockey players to utilize their personal stories to educate and advocate to both the hockey community and the general public, indoctrinating the belief that Hockey Is For Everyone, meanwhile creating a more disabled aware society.
