For more than 50 years, the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara has helped local students access postsecondary education. The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara inspires, encourages, and supports Santa Barbara County students to and through college, graduate, and vocational school by providing information, advising, and scholarships. The nation's largest community-based provider of college scholarships, the Scholarship Foundation has cumulatively awarded in excess of $137 million to more than 55,000 county students since its founding in 1962. The Foundation awarded $8 million in scholarships to 2,247 county students in May 2021. Scholarship Foundation workshops and financial aid advisory appointments at school sites and our offices serve more than 25,000 individuals each year.
