Whether you are a native Houstonian or traveling from across the country, A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF) prides itself in meeting families where they are in your cancer journey. They are a shelter for families who need a safe and comfortable home away from home, and the support and stability they need along the way.
ASCF is comprised of cancer survivors, caregivers and the loved ones of cancer patients. They have lived the journey, and for more than 20 years have been a home, navigator and champion for cancer families. Every day they are working toward building more shelter, more partnerships and more awareness to serve the thousands of patients who travel to Houston for cancer care each year and the thousands already living here.
