The Windsor Terrace School, located in the Windsor Terrace section of Brooklyn, is a small community school serving approximately 530 students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
Our students will develop agency in their learning through a curriculum that is responsive to the emotional needs, cultural backgrounds and great intellectual potential of our students. We will provide targeted instruction guided by teachers who will continue to enhance their own understanding of child development/cognition, research supported pedagogy and instructional technology. Our students will strengthen their collaborative skills, deepen their understanding of citizenship in the local and global community and develop a profound respect for their individual courage as risk takers, and our families will enhance their ability to become active and engaged participants in the learning process.
