Student Leadership Network
Equalizing Education. Achieving Success.
Student Leadership Network supports three life-changing programs that empower youth from underserved communities to break the cycle of poverty through education: The Young Women's Leadership Schools (TYWLS), a high performing network of six all-girls NYC public schools; CollegeBound Initiative (CBI), a comprehensive college access program for students across 29 New York public high schools, currently impacting more than 16,000 students; Young Women's Leadership Network (YWLN), a national network of all-girls schools including seven affiliate schools in California, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New York, and North Carolina, and our partner network of eleven schools in Texas, the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN). Since 2001, SL Network has helped more than 21,000 students to enroll in college and graduates have secured nearly $1 billion in scholarships and financial aid to enable them to persist there.
