Founded in 2000, The Idea Village is a New Orleans based 501(c)3 nonprofit founded on the principle of supporting regional startups and the big thinkers that power them. They draw inspiration from the city they call home, and with the tremendous support of their team, mobilize a village of people who are relentlessly resourceful and committed to building successful companies.To date, The Idea Village has provided over 12,450 entrepreneurs with more than $27 million in resources. Over 261 of these entrepreneurs have gone through their core accelerator program and 73% of those alumni companies are still in business today, having created a $178 million/year annual economic impact for the regional economy.
