The purpose of the Rise School of Denver is to provide the highest quality early childhood education for all children, including children with developmental disabilities. We do this by providing exemplary services based on recommended practices for children with diverse abilities and their families. The Rise School of Denver aims to serve more than 100 young children and their families each year through our Early Childhood Education program and our Rise Therapy Center, which provides outpatient therapy.
Through our Early Childhood Education program, we provide high-quality inclusive educational and therapeutic services for up to 55 children, with and without disabilities, between the ages of 12 months to pre-kindergarten. Every child is cared for, educated, and supported by a lead teacher with a master’s degree in early childhood special education and a highly trained teaching assistant in addition to a transdisciplinary therapy team that includes: a speech and language pathologist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, a behavior analyst, an inclusion specialist, and a music therapist.
The Rise School of Denver also provides an After School Program thar is led by our therapy team and was created through a therapeutic and educational lens, so it includes structured activities with play-based learning opportunities designed to support each child’s development.
The Rise Therapy Center (RTC) is located right here on our campus and serves families both within and outside our school community. We provide child and family centered, research-based therapy services and inclusive community group opportunities for children with and without disabilities.
