Christ House has been providing comprehensive health care to sick, homeless men in Washington, DC since 1985. Our 30-bed facility provides 24-hour medical care, case management, housing placement assistance, meals, clothing, and a full range of other supportive services. Our goal is that patients will leave with improved health and a new ability to live independently in the community. Christ House exists to support unhoused men who are too ill or frail to recover from a physical illness or injury on the streets but are not ill enough to be in a hospital. We have welcomed more than 10,000 patients over four decades.
