GVNG provides the tools, inspiration, and support that you need (e.g. find causes important to you, run tax-deductible crowdfunding campaigns, and streamline your donations) in order to become a more efficient donor.
The GVNG wallet is a way for you to manage all your charitable giving in one place. Users can donate funds to any U.S. charity of their choice—all within the app and at their own pace.
Users can now contribute stock to their GVNG Wallets!
Through our partnership with DonateStock, donors can now easily contribute stock to their wallets—earning you even more tax benefits and maximizing your impact.
Important Information:
- Your stock donation will be transferred from your brokerage to DonateStock Charitable, Inc. where the shares will be converted to cash and deposited into your GVNG Wallet.
- You may then allocate the funds from your GVNG wallet to support your favorite nonprofits. Please allow 10-15 business days for the funds to appear in your wallet.

Please note: You will receive a tax receipt from DonateStock Charitable, Inc. within 90 days of your transfer.
DonateStock deducts 1.5% of the proceeds to cover the processing fees.

Disclosures:
- DonateStock is legally authorized to process gifts of securities and crypto for GVNG. Unless the donor requests anonymity, their information and gift details are provided to GVNG when the gift is initiated.
- In most cases, donations are processed through our 501(c)(3) Donatestock Charitable, Inc. Gifts are converted to cash and the proceeds are distributed to the recipient within 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the plan they chose.
- There is no cost to donors or financial advisors. The nonprofit beneficiary pays a modest transaction fee for making non-cash giving easy for donors and the nonprofit’s team.
