With a no-kill philosophy at our core, every animal who enters our care has a home with us for as long as it takes to find their forever family. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generosity of individuals and businesses like you to continue this lifesaving work. Unlike many assume, HSDC is not affiliated with any national or government agency, nor do we receive city, state, or federal funding.
