In 2019, UNESCO initiated the Futures of Education program, which aimed to critically examine the current education system and reimagine it to suit the changing world. As our society faces greater complexity, uncertainty, and precarity, education must evolve to meet these challenges.
The Futures of Education initiative started a global dialogue on how knowledge, education, and learning can adapt to the changing world. This initiative served as a call to action to make education more relevant, equitable, and accessible to all.
Longitude takes this initiative into the next phase by funding and supporting the implementation of educational projects that shape the future of humanity and the planet.
