Oncology And Kids (OAK) is a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families affected by cancer through comprehensive, cost-free programs that address the emotional, social, and financial challenges of pediatric oncology. At the heart of our mission is the belief that every child deserves a chance to experience joy, friendship, and personal growth, irrespective of their health battles. Our key programs include Camp Reach for the Sky, offering a range of experiences from resident oncology camps to sibling camps and bereavement support, creating a nurturing environment where children and their families can connect with others on similar journeys. We also provide leadership development opportunities, such as the Leaders In Training program and our Junior Council, which empower young survivors and siblings by involving them in advocacy and peer support roles. Driven by our commitment to make a lifelong impact, OAK fosters resilience and hope in young lives through transformative experiences and a supportive community. Our aim is not just to support families during treatment but to enhance the quality of life and emotional well-being of our children and their families long after. By engaging a network of volunteers, donors, and professionals, we strive to build a future where children facing cancer can thrive, not just survive.
