Our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans and First Responders suffering from mental and/or physical disabilities through trained service dogs, empowering them and their families and communities to achieve lifelong successes and to pave their way home.
Our unique one-on-one custom tailored training model makes being partnered with a service dog possible for Veterans and First Responders from historically underrepresented groups and groups so severely impacted by their disability that large group training is uncomfortable or impossible. We serve a Veteran and First Responder population with often multiple disabilities plus additional factors, including POCs, LGBTQIA+, survivors of domestic and military sexual violence, which can make acquiring a highly trained service dog more difficult.
Our mission is the empowerment of Veterans, First Responders, and their families, particularly from historically underrepresented groups, through the individualized placement of highly trained service dogs. We provide holistic education and training to address the Veterans’ and First Responders' specific needs while accommodating individual lived experience.
