Roadrunner Food Bank
Our vision is that everyone has enough to eat.
Roadrunner Food Bank has been serving New Mexico's hungry since 1980. Its mission is to provide nourishing food through vibrant community partnerships and passionate public and private support. Roadrunner solicits, collects, and transports more than 40 million pounds of food yearly. Food comes from a variety of sources including national and local food manufacturers, supermarkets, large food distributors, farmers/growers, food brokers and food drives. Roadrunner distributes the food through its statewide hunger-relief network of 400+ food pantries, schools, senior centers, healthcare facilities, low-income day care centers, shelters, soup kitchens, its own direct service programs, and four smaller regional food banks. In turn, this network provide emergency food to 300,000 New Mexicans every year.
