Sci-Port provides a fun, educational environment for people of all ages to explore and actively engage in the world of mathematics, science and technology. Sci-Port serves to spark curiosity about the world around us, provides hands-on tools for using scientific discovery in everyday life, and encourages a passion for life-long learning. Since opening the permanent site in 1998, Sci-Port's programs have served over two million people from throughout the United States. Today, Sci-Port actively engages people of all ages to explore the worlds of science, space science, technology and math through school and public workshops, teacher development workshops, camp-ins, birthday party programs, after-hours events, guest program presenters and summer camps. In addition, Sci-Port offers regularly changing IMAX films, exhibitions and public events.
