The mission of Syracuse Challenger Baseball is to oversee and to operate the official Challenger Baseball Division of NY District 8 Little League Baseball for intellectually, neurologically, emotionally, and physically impaired children and adult participants and players, and to solicit and fundraise for monies for the fulfillment of that purpose. Further, the corporation will solicit and fundraise for monies for the development and construction of the all-inclusive, handicap accessible Carrier Park Field of Dreams sports athletic complex in Dewitt, New York -- the Home of Syracuse Challenger Baseball. Lastly, the organization will provide the individuals and families of Syracuse Challenger Baseball and the Central New York community with a support network to assist with the identification and location of services, structures and supports necessary to help them lead independent and fulfilling lives of their choosing.
