Mission Statement: Weehawken Creative Arts mission is to provide high-quality arts education, personal growth programs, and cultural events within our communities year-round. Weehawken Creative Arts is a nonprofit arts organization based in Ridgway, Colorado, serving Ouray and Montrose Counties through dynamic, year-round arts programming. Founded in 2004, the organization believes the arts enrich lives, build community, and ignite personal growth. Weehawken offers a diverse range of classes and experiencesincluding visual arts, dance, theater, aerial arts, creative writing, photography, and cultural eventsfor people of all ages and skill levels. Its programming spans hundreds of classes annually, from toddler art and youth after-school offerings to adult workshops and performance opportunities. Beyond classes, Weehawken produces major community events like the Ridgway Rendezvous juried arts festival and The Ridgway Fete de la Musique, and co-manages the 610 Arts Collective, a gallery that showcases regional artists and supports the creative economy.
